The Black Pyramid, or the Pyramid, was a mysterious artifact (somewhat similar to a Factory of Crystal). It was used to travel across dimensions by the Tourist, who was evasive about its origins, claiming that it was “a prototype”.

Physical appearance[]
The Black Pyramid appeared on the outside as a pitch-black pyramid with green patterns traced on its surfaces. It could size-shift like a Factory of Crystal, going from the size of its mistress's fist to that of a shed or building, with a human-sized door sliding open to allow entry.
The interior was a large, black control room with gothic finishes and a catwalk which would have allowed for great camera angles of the Tourist at the controls, but didn't actually lead anywhere. (PROSE: The Forgotten Heroines of 10,000 Dawns Big Takeover!)
Nature[]
The Tourist claimed that the Black Pyramid functioned by travelling “through narrative” rather than through conventional spacetime, which had allowed her to use the ship to escape the 10,000 Drafts. The Tourist could make it appear in front of her with a snap of her fingers, and control its size-shifting through force of will. (PROSE: The Forgotten Heroines of 10,000 Dawns Big Takeover!)
Behind the scenes[]
The Pyramid is an early counterpart of the Factory of Crystal employed by the Tourist's behind-the-scenes descendant, Lady Aesculapius. It first appeared in a finished story in The Forgotten Heroines of 10,000 Dawns Big Takeover!.
